Rain Sounds for Sleep with a Dark Screen

Rain when you want it, with almost everything else left dark.

This Quiet World can be used as a simple bedside rain screen: a restrained nighttime landscape, real rain recordings, and no bright player interface left on display once the controls fade.

Start with manual Rain

Choose Rain when you want the weather to stay under your control. Opening Rain from this page changes only the world to manual Rain mode. It does not turn sound on for you, change your saved volume, remove your other saved atmosphere choices, or silently replace unrelated preferences.

To hear the rain, use the Sound control after you enter. Browsers require that first interaction before they will reliably start audio.

Steady rain or a storm

Rain and Storm are separate controls. Rain gives you the persistent rainfall scene. Storm can be added when you want drifting cloud, lightning and thunder as part of the same world. Leave Storm off for the quieter version.

Manual Rain versus Alive

Manual Rain stays a choice you made. Alive is different: it lets the world move through its own weather over time, so rain can arrive, intensify, clear and leave water behind. Choosing a manual scene takes control back from Alive.

Volume and silence

• The main Sound button turns nighttime audio on or off.
• The volume slider under More controls TQW's own audio mix.
• Your device's hardware or system volume remains under your control.
• You can keep the rain visual running with TQW muted.

This is an ambient website, not a medical sleep treatment. Use whatever sound level and screen setup feels comfortable for your room.
